While Slipknot‘s planned Knotfest Brazil had to be moved to 2022, the band are taking their festival plans to America’s West Coast. The masked Iowans have just announced that they’ll be headlining Knotfest LA in November, with some considerable acts backing them up.
Knotfest LA will go down November 5th, 2021, at the Banc of California Stadium. Opening for the band will be British pop-core acts Bring Me The Horizon, as well as Killswitch Engage, FEVER 333, and Code Orange. The festival’s press release also promises that fans will get to “sample Slipknot’s award-winning small batch Iowa whiskies at the No.9 Whiskey Bar, including a soon-to-be-announced surprise for fans. And for the beer drinkers, there’ll be a selection of metal-friendly and band-branded beers pouring at the Knotfest Beer Pit.”
