Last we heard from Brazilian thrash metal bruisers Sepultura was in May, when the band posted a video of them playing their classic song “Refuse/Resist” live in quarantine. Now, Sepultura have announced a rescheduled North American tour, to kick off in March of next year.
Opening for Sepultura will be sludge overlords Crowbar and thrash upstarts Sacred Reich. Things kick off in California, move east through the southwest, and then circle back to the West Coast.
“We can’t wait to go back on stage,” says guitarist Andreas Kisser. “We are very happy to announce our North American tour for 2022. We will see you all on the road, jamming old stuff new stuff and having the greatest time of our lives. See you all soon stay safe!”
