Last we heard from the set of Jackass Forever, the fourth installment of the Jackass franchise, was when a guest star was rushed to the hospital after being bitten by a shark. Now, the film’s official first trailer has been released, and sweet Jesus and all his angels, it’s fucked up.
For those fans of the Jackass series who might have felt like Jackass 3 didn’t go hard enough in its mania and violence, Johnny Knoxville and Co. are here for you. The trailer promises an insane number of hilarious stunts, cruel pranks, and animal terror, including but not limited to: snakes biting faces, giant hands slapping people, fat guys jumping other guys on motorcycles, hardcore electrocution, bull goring, slip-and-sliding, a professional pitcher throwing fastballs into the dude’s crotches, and of course, bears. It certainly helps that the team appears to be joined by some younger members (including rapper-turned-pop-punker Machine Gun Kelly), as the sight of Knoxville’s white hair might make some viewers wonder if these dudes survived the experience.

Unfortunately, not everyone appearing in the movie came out unscathed. During one scene caught on camera for Discovery Channel’s ‘Shark Week’ event, professional surfer Sean “Poopies” McInerney was wakeboarding in the ocean while surrounded by a swarm of sharks. Unfortunately, after landing one trick a little slower than he should have, McInerney was confronted by one of the movie’s animal stars.
“I told my driver to go like 10 miles an hour so we don’t go too fast, but I think we went a little too slow and I launched like four to five feet into the shark pit,” said McInerney, “and when I landed in that shark pit, I thought I was gonna die.”
“There were 10 sharks around me and I was trying to swim out and I couldn’t,” said McInerney. “I knew I got bit, and when I got bit I thought I was gonna get attacked by like six more sharks and luckily I didn’t. I just got my hand bitten — scariest thing in my life.”
