In April, it was revealed that mathy nu-core legends Mudvayne would be reuniting for four festivals this summer. Now, the band have posted video footage of them rehearsing before these shows, and if you weren’t stoked for Mudvayne’s reunion before, you will be now.
As you’ll see in the footage below, Mudvayne don’t skimp on their patented mixture of digital data and medical imagery for the footage. There are plenty of Easter eggs here that hardcore fans of the band would probably be able to pick out if they paused and studied some of the scrolling information that runs throughout the video. That said, it’s the culminating collage of the dudes back in the rehearsal studio, backed by the band ripping through an updated version of “-1” from 2000’s L.D. 50, that will make this video so exciting to diehards.

Mudvayne’s reunion shows were announced in a similar fashion as this video and Instagram post, offering fans both a list of dates and a series of creepy, mysterious messages for them to decipher.
