Watch Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe and Members of Gorilla Biscuits, Dillinger Escape Plan, and More Cover Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U”

Published on:

Last we heard from those incorrigible coxswains over at Two Minutes to Late Night, they had coaxed Powerman 5000 vocalist Spider One into helping them cover the club hits of the ’90s. But now, apparently disgusted with the face they see in the mirror, the Two live crew have decided to perform a cover that’s a little more brutal — and they’ve enlisted Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe to help them out!

The track? Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U,” the ’80s massive precursor to l33t sp3@k. And while Randy’s hardcore version of this song would be enough, it helps that he’s not alone in hailing the Purple One. Also performing on the track are a bevy of famous metal, punk, and hardcore musicians, including (deep breath): Walter Schreifels (Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand), Urian V. Hackney (The Armed), Rachel Rosen (Most Precious Blood), Bo Lueders (Harms’ Way), Jeffery Eaton (Modern Life Is War), Christina Michelle (Gouge Away), Dwid Hellion (Integrity), Brody King (God’s Hate), Djamila Azzouz (Ithaca), Shawna Potter (War On Women), James Muñoz (The Bled), Miss Eaves, Jenna Pup (The HIRS Collective), Ryan Bland (Ache), Mike Lennon (The Healthy Scratch), and Pete Bruno (Tyrannosaur).
