Slipknot Postpone Knotfest Brazil to 2022

While Slipknot have been making huge inroads to getting back on stage and playing live via their upcoming Knotfest Iowa and the North American tour to follow, they’ve also had a setback. It now appears that Knotfest Brazil, the band’s massive South American festival which was announced back in November of 2020, will have to be postponed to 2022.

“#KnotfestBrasil has been postponed to December 18, 2022,” tweeted the band. “It was not an easy decision, but necessary for the safety of fans, production team and artists.

“Tickets will remain valid for the new date: eventim.com.br.

“Official lineup will be announced on August 17, 2021.”

While this is a bummer, we respect the band’s choice to postpone the show in the name of fan and artist safety. Keep your eyes peeled for Knotfest Brazil’s new line-up in the coming months.
