Only last week, sonic train-runners Slipknot revealed that they’d be bringing their infamous festival Knotfest to their home state of Iowa in 2021. Now, the band have also announced that they’ll be heading out on massive U.S. tour to coincide with the festival.
The ‘Knotfest Roadshow’ tour will also include metalcore legends Killswitch Engage, contemporary rap-rockers FEVER 333, and sludgy nu-core legends Code Orange. The show kicks off in Des Moines and then weaves its way through arenas across America.
“With the world opening up, it’s time to get excited about LIFE again,” says frontman Corey Taylor. “To get back to LIFE again. This tour is a long time coming and we hope you’re as excited to see it as we are to play it. Stay safe, stay (sic) and we’ll see you soon.”

Knofest Iowa 2021 will take place at the National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, IA, on Saturday, September 25th. Slipknot themselves will obviously be headlining the show, while the line-up will be rounded out by Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium, Tech N9ne, FEVER 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper and Vended.
