Lamb of God, Avatar, Sevendust and More Announced for ShipRocked 2022

One industry that was slammed by COVID equally as hard as live music, if not more so, was the cruise industry. Due in part to COVID outbreaks being linked to several cruises, the leisure boat industry definitely took a hard hit during the pandemic (if one remembers correctly, as COVID first hit, several cruise ships were denied entry into their ports of origin). But now, it seems that both concerts and cruises are back in action, as ShipRocked 2022 has just announced its line-up — and man, there are some impressive names on that.

Headlining the rock cruise will be Richmond thrashers Lamb of God and Baltimore metalcore act I Prevail. Also on the ship will be Sevendust, Avatar, and even glam filth-mongers Steel Panther.

“Continuing the legacy of legendary seafarers who came before us like Captain Ahab, Captain Nemo and the great Captain Merrill Stubing, Steel Panther is proud to be a part of ShipRocked 2022,” said the crotch-hungry band. “It will be the best fishing trip you have ever been on…if you’re fishing for a first mate or just an old-fashioned rockin’ good time.“

“We are thrilled to announce that Lamb Of God will be appearing on ShipRocked 2022!” says Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton. “Live music is coming back in a big way and what better chance to make up for all the concerts you’ve been missing out on over the last year than to set out to sea for 5 days of non-stop rock?! Bring your sunscreen, Pedialyte and lots of Dramamine…Let’s gooooooo!”
