Cannibal Corpse’s ‘Violence Unimagined’ Crushes the Sh*t Out of International Charts

Published on:

Earlier this month, death metal goremongers Cannibal Corpse released their 15th studio album Violence Unimagined to critical acclaim and a hell of a lot of windmilled hair. Now, the band’s chart positions are in, and all around the globe fans have celebrated Cannibal Corpse’s latest release to an awesome degree.

Most notable for Cannibal Corpse is their US chart positioning, with the band landing #2 spots on the Current Hard Music Albums chart and the Independent Current Albums chart, not to mention #3 spots on the Internet Albums and Current Rock Albums charts. But equally impressive is the band’s position at #45 on the Billboard Top 200 (we know that #45 isn’t the Top 10 or whatever, but when you consider the fact that the album features songs about sawing people in half, not to mention arguably the most horrific album cover of all time, it’s actually pretty amazing that they broke the Top 50).

You can check out the full list of chart positionings below. Congrats to the guys in Cannibal Corpse for releasing one of the more exciting metal albums the world has seen since the entire entertainment industry collapsed onto itself.
