Plenty of trends have come and gone in the world of YouTube viral videos, but supercuts of public addresses which make famous people “sing” classic metal and rap songs has remained at least somewhat funny. Earlier this year, we had Joe Biden “singing” Metallica’s “King Nothing” to honor Trump’s election loss; now, there’s Pope Francis “singing” Megadeth‘s “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due,” seemingly to honor, well, how fuckin’ funny it is.

The video comes from YouTuber Lars von Retriever, whose previous “singing” supercuts have slowly become the stuff of viral video lore. The difference between this one, though, and some of Lars’ recent political mash-ups, is that Pope Frankie isn’t quite the vicious, ideology-spewing public figure as Donald Trump. It’s definitely hilarious and maybe a little intense to see the Pope saying lyrics about “spilling blood across the land,” but it doesn’t have the same impact as Donnie the Great Pumpkin yelling at the top of his lungs while making bow-drawing hand motions at crowds of frenzied MAGA cultists.

Check out the Pope’s big metal moment below:
