Last October, musical horror master Rob Zombie saved Halloween by announcing the release of his new album The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, from which he dropped the first single, “The Triumph of King Freak (A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition).” Now, Zombie is teasing the release of another new track, which is scheduled to come out a week from today.

Today, Rob posted an image to his Instagram featuring the text, “IN 7 DAYS A NEW ZOMBIE SONG IS COMING,” with the caption, “You asked for it and you got it!”

Stay tuned for more information on the new track’s release as we know hear about it. We can only hope that it has all of the things that we’re secretly hoping for on Rob’s new album, most notably the sheer thunderous heaviness of “King Freak.” The first single illustrated how Rob and guitarist John 5’s earlier claims that this might be the heaviest record of the shock rocker’s career weren’t just a whole lot of talk.
