Watch Joe Biden ‘Sing’ Metallica’s “King Nothing”

Over the past couple of years, YouTuber Lars Von Retriever has had a lot of fun creating Frankensteined videos in which Donald Trump “sings” various metal songs.

For Trump, the flavor was usually apocalyptic, with tracks like Megadeth and Slayer highlighting how close we were to being thrown into the end of the world.

Now, it’s President-Elect Joe Biden’s turn, as Lars has whipped up a cover of Metallica‘s “King Nothing” with Biden doing the ‘singing ‘ this time around.

As you’ll see in the video below, Biden’s Metallica cover — under the title ‘Iron Biden’ — is a little staccato with how Lars spreads the words out in order to make the rhythm match up.

More so, it shows the YouTuber taking a solidly anti-Trump stance, casting the former president as ‘King Nothing’ in this particular scenario.

Of course, it’s also a politician saying words that become a metal song, so everything here should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Classic.

Of course, this isn’t the first Metallica viral video to wow fans this year. Earlier this month, one YouTuber combined Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and Mariah Carey’s holiday earworm “All I Want For Christmas Is You” to pretty exceptional comedic effect.

As you’ll hear below, YouTuber William Maranci decided to crush together Mariah’s infamous track with “For Whom The Bell Tolls” off of Metallica’s Ride the Lightning. Besides the fact that the Mariah Carey song is loaded with bells, which give the track a sort of poetic credence, there’s also the way the vocal rhythms match up with the song that make the whole thing kind of awesome. The way the band’s guitar shredding is matched up with the bridge really brings it home.

Listen to the song you should request at every mall and Walmart below:
