These days, Tool fans can own all sorts of strange and awesome pieces of merch, from socks to stash boxes. But what about kitchen fixtures? How many diehards can say they have a kitchen sink featuring the signatures of Tool’s members on it? Well, now’s the chance to own just such an item, as a kitchen sink signed by the dudes from Tool has been announced as one of the items being auctioned off for Ronnie James Dio’s charity.

The sink will be auctioned via Julien’s Auctions as part of a larger sale called ‘Icons and Idols: Rock ‘N’ Roll.’ As you can see in the listing, the sink is metal, and includes various holes for drains, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures. Because it’s a fucking sink.

That said, this sink does feature the signatures of Tool’s members, as the listing makes clear: “A kitchen sink signed by the members of Tool: Maynard James Keenan, Danny Carey, Adam Jones, and Justin Chancellor.” Not only that, but the minimum bid for this item is $100, and the house expects it to go between $500 and $700. They must know what we do: that Tool fans are out of their goddamn minds.

Hey, if you can get to a point in your life where you can sign a goddamn sink and it becomes a collectors’ item, you’re doing all right.

All joking aside, the proceeds from the sale of this sink with some dudes’ names scribbled on it do go to a good cause: the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. So while this whole thing is more than a little ridiculous, at least its sale will help some people in needs.

If you’re either a Tool diehard or lacking a place to do your dishes, you can bid for the sink on Tuesday, December 1st, and 10am PST. More details for the auction can be found at Julien’s website.
