Watch Members of Dethklok, Protest the Hero, and More Cover Oingo Boingo’s “Dead Man’s Party” In The Style of Iron Maiden

Published on:

Last we left those culos de los muertos from Two Minutes to Late Night, they were performing an ultra-metallicized version of The Misfits’ “Halloween II” in honor of the spooky season. But now, as All Hallows’ Eve fast approaches, those explorers into the bedroom-cover unknown have whipped up something far more celebratory for us: a cover of Oingo Boingo’s “Dead Man’s Party,” performed in the style of Iron Maiden!

For those of you who don’t know, Oingo Boingo was the weirdo goth band of Danny Elfman, the composer best known for the music in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas (not to mention the themes for Sleepy Hollow and The Simpsons). For their galloping tribute, the Two Minutes crew have pulled together one hell of a line-up: Gwarsenio Hall and Nili Brosh (The Iron Maidens, Dethklok, and Danny Elfman himself) on guitar, Pete Griffin (Dethklok, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra) on bass, and Rody Walker and Mike Ieradi (Protest the Hero) on vocals and drums respectively.

Check out this unexpected celebration to the thinning of the veil below:

And if this doesn’t chill you to your boner, watch one of Two Minutes‘ other covers:

And make sure to donate to the Two Minutes to Late Night Patreon so they can keep making these incredible cover videos!
