Last week, the rock and metal world were crushed to learn that Eddie Van Halen, guitar legend and co-founder of the funnest band in the world, had died at the age of 65. The one upside to this tragedy is that it got the entire world listening to Van Halen again, with the band’s sales figures jumping 6,000% on the day of Eddie’s death alone. Now, it appears that Van Halen have landed solidly on Billboard’s Hard Rock Digital Sales Chart — in 20 out of the top 25 spots.

As reported by our friends at MetalSucks, Van Halen dominated the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, taking 20 of the 25 slots and locking in nine out of the top 10 (with AC/DC’s new song “Shot In The Dark” breaking their streak). Take a look:

  1. Van Halen “Jump”
  2. Van Halen “Panama”
  3. Van Halen “Eruption”
  4. Van Halen “Runnin’ with the Devil”
