With Halloween fast approaching, most metal fans probably have some Rob Zombie bumping on their stereos. Now, it looks like they’ll have some new material to blast soon — because Rob has just announced that your first taste of his new album will be coming next week.

To call this a teaser is a little ridiculous because, well…the post literally says, ‘IN 7 DAYS NEW ROB ZOMBIE MUSIC IS COMING.’ Take a look:

THE WAIT IS OVER !

Holy shit! Get ready for new Rob Zombie tunes on Halloween Eve 2020!

Only earlier this month, Zombie began teasing new material, saying that a reveal was on its way. In an interview with Detroit’s WRIF, John 5 was asked about the status of Zombie’s much-anticipated follow-up to 2016’s The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser. His response suggested that we might get good news by the end of the month:

“You will be seeing something soon,” said John. “That’s all I’ll say. Very, very, very soon. It’s coming very soon… We’re excited. I’m more excited than anyone, that’s for sure.”

According to Rob himself, the new album’s entirely in the can — it’s just about finding the right time after the absolute madness of last year’s 3 From Hell to put it out and promote it.

“The record’s 100 per cent finished,” he told Kerrang! last October. “It’ll come out early next year. It’s been done for a while, But I didn’t want to put it out while I was dealing with the movie, because it’d just get lost and I wouldn’t have time to deal with it. So now that the movie is — well, I’m still dealing with it, we’re on the phone talking about it, but I’m almost done dealing with it — then we’ll start fresh this year with the music. I think it’s the best record we’ve ever made. We’ve worked on it for a long time. The songs are very catchy, but the structures are way more complex that they’ve been in the past. It’s kind of all over the place. I think the fans are going to love it.”
