Last year saw massive releases for several bands, among them German industrial metal act Rammstein. The band’s self-titled studio album — their first in ten years — was a massive win for the band, with their video for the first single “Deutschland” turning heads and sparking controversy. But it looks like that record was just the beginning, as it’s now being reported that Rammstein have returned to the studio.

Yesterday, fan site Rammstein World posted the following: “There’s no longer any doubt: Rammstein are back at La Fabrique studios, where they recorded their latest album! Some members and engineers of the band have been spotted in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where the studio is located. Other people usually present in the studio with the band posted about their trip to France on social networks.

“Till had declared in 2019 that the band still had unreleased songs, and Schneider confirmed that Rammstein would work on new songs in 2020. Stay tuned!”

Could it be that Rammstein are putting together a collection of unused material from last year’s release, or even working on a new record now that the creative floodgates have been opened? You’ll know more when we do.

Like every band on the planet, Rammstein were unfortunately forced to postpone their 2020 touring plans in Europe and North America due to COVID-19. However, the band have since announced rescheduled dates, so get ready to get an impromptu suntan from some pyro at one of the shows below:
