Yesterday, Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor announced that he’d be releasing another new single from his upcoming solo album CMFT as part of last night’s WWE NXT broadcast. Well, the track has landed via an animated video, and you can check it out below.

The song, “Culture Head” is definitely more metal than some of previous singles from the album, with a big wah-heavy riff at its core. The lyrics are political but unpointed, with an indictment seemingly of culture as a whole. The video includes animation that references the recent struggles between police and protesters going on in every major American city, though it sets them in a blank three-color world where the imagery is what’s important and the message of either side has been totally stripped.

Check out the video for “Culture Head” below:

The WWE promotional campaign is leading up to the release of Corey’s solo album CMFT next week, as well as the livestreamed performance of the album from the singer’s pay-per-view show Forum or Against ‘Em at LA’s The Forum.

“I’ve been saying since the beginning I’d find a way to bring this music and this band to the people,” said Taylor in a statement. “And I’m honored that The Forum let us do just that. It’s CMFT in its entirety. It’s songs I’ve shared over the years. It’s a celebration, and I’m so stoked to party with all of you.”

“To do a rock show on this scale, with an icon like Corey Taylor – while putting some of the behind-the-scenes heroes of the concert industry back to work – is an exciting step into the future,” says Danny Wimmer, the man behind rock festival company Danny Wimmer Presents and one of Taylor’s partners on the event. “We believe that Pay-Per-View is here to stay and we couldn’t think of anyone better to help us launch our new digital platform than Corey Taylor. He’s a global star, and his music with Slipknot and Stone Sour, as well as our amazing relationship with 5B, has helped to fuel DWP’s growth over the past decade.  We can’t wait to get this show started.”

Tickets for the performance are already on sale. For megafans, there’s also a package that includes tickets, a T-shirt, a hoodie, a poster, and access to view an exclusive acoustic set by Corey. Not only that, there are also an extremely limited number of bundles that include a one-on-one chat with Taylor, so get your questions ready
