Man, toy company Super7 really knows how to give Slayer fans what they want. Last year, they created an action figure of the infamous Baphomet from the cover of the band’s debut Show No Mercy. Now, they’ve stepped their game up a notch, and released a three-figure set of Slayer from the cover of their 1984 live album Live Undead.
As you can see from this post on their Instagram, the Live Undead figure set comes with zombified Tom Araya, Kerry King, and Jeff Hanneman (kind of wack that they left drum god Dave Lombardo out, but whatever). Also included with the figures is of course a tombstone spewing human blood, because what’s a Slayer action figure set without a bleeding tombstone?
According to the post, “Emerging this Wednesday (8/19): SLAAAYEER! The collaboration of Super7 with heavy metal legends @slayerbandofficial continues with the Live Undead 3-Pack! Inspired by the band’s 1984 “live” EP it features the undead band members as 3.75″ ReAction Figures with the bleeding headstone right out of the record’s cover art. The set comes with 2 guitar accessories packaged in a graveyard window box.”

TAKE OUR MONEY. TAKE IT ALL.
The sad truth is that these toys might be the closest thing we get to seeing Slayer live ever again. Last year, the band performed for the last time, putting an end to a long, storied career as arguably the greatest live metal band on the planet.
