Listen: Christian Author Claims He’s Captured The Voice Of Satan

If there’s anyone who has a greater influence on heavy metal than Tony Iommi, it is undoubtedly Satan, the lord of darkness. For eons, the Devil has communicated with man via baby-making rhythms and blistering fretwork, scandalizing parents, enamoring teenagers, and working dutifully to bring about the downfall of humanity. Now, one Christian author claims that he’s been able to capture the voice of Satan on tape.

As reported by Loudwire, author Roderick Millington claims that he has recorded over 20 electronic voice phenomena, or EVPs, for his book The Devil’s Playground. Among them, he claims, is the voice of Old Scratch himself, a recorded of which blog Meta-Speech has included on their page. In the recording, the Fallen One says, “Come into the fire…come to me…”

“I am a journalist and have approached this whole subject with an open-minded, investigative attitude,” says Roderick. “And I will own up straight away to the fact that until recently I was one of the cynics who laughed at those who believe in the Devil. Then I heard his voice and everything changed.

“What should I do? If I began to research further, I might come face-to-face with supreme evil; I could quite literally put my mortal soul in danger. Yet ignoring it felt irresponsible, particularly in an age when more and more people are dabbling in the occult. No matter which path I considered, the decision felt wrong.

“I don’t know how long it took me but, as I sat at my desk trying to take in the fact that I may have been directly spoken to by Satan, after a time my breath came back, my mind grew more lucid, and I knew what I had to do. This book is the result.”

Listen to the voice of the Devil here.

Huh. Not very satanic, is it? Honestly, we thought Unholy One would sound a little more like this.
