
Unless you’ve been living under a rock (which doesn’t sound half bad right now), you probably know that Code Orange have been crushing it when it comes to livestreaming. It all started on March 14th, the Pittsburgh-based heavy-music trailblazers teamed with Twitch for the innovative livestream concert film LAST ONES LEFT: in fear of the end, which drew nearly 13,000 concurrent viewers while trending Top 15 on Twitter in the U.S. The show marked the quintet’s first concert with vocalist-drummer Jami Morgan stepping out from behind the kit and manning the mic as Code Orange’s frontman, as well as including the live debuts of numerous standouts off the band’s latest full-length, Underneath. The success of that event inspired Code Orange to launch “YOU AND YOU ALONE,” a livestream series that has included electronic improvisations, guitar, bass and drum playthroughs, visual art discussions and more.
Today (June 30th), Code Orange announced their latest livestream venture, “UNDER THE SKIN,” set for a on July 30th premiere. The event is set to feature “a full-band reimagined and stripped-down presentation of tracks spanning our entire catalogue. our second ever large scale livestream event + another audio/visual nightmare.” See more info below — and do not miss it!
