Back in December, Mongolian folk-metal phenoms the HU unleashed a new version of this viral hit “Wolf Totem” featuring Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix, instilling new life into the song — which had already wracked up more than 21 million views on YouTube in its original incarnation. “I’m honored to be part of such a powerful new blend of rock & roll,” Shaddix enthused at the time. “The Hu are the real deal. Don’t sleep on this.”

Now, the band has unveiled a new music video for the collaborative version of “Wolf Totem” and the Papa Roach singer once again guests. The high energy visual sees Shaddix throwing down with the HU inside a small wood cabin, live footage that is intercut with blood-spattered clips from the forthcoming horror-thriller film The Retaliators, directed by Bridget Smith and starring Michael Lombardi (Rescue Me), Marc Menchaca (Ozark, The Outsider) and Joseph Gatt (Dumbo) The movie is slated for a release this fall via Better Noise Films, the cinematic arm of Better Noise Entertainment, which also owns Better Noise Music, a.k.a. the label formerly known as Eleven Seven and the home to Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach and, of course, the HU.

Fittingly then, The Retaliators features cameos from a host of Better Noise Music’s roster including Shaddix and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, as well as assorted members of the HU, Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Escape the Fate and more.
