Watch Korn’s Provocative New “Can You Hear Me” Video

Published on:

Still riding high on the release of their acclaimed 2019 album The Nothing, Korn have dropped the new music video for the LP’s third single “Can You Hear Me.” The provocative clip was directed by Adam Mason, who helmed the group’s forthcoming six-part anthology podcast series, also titled The Nothing, as well as Alice in Chains’ episodic sci-fi/horror movie Black Antennae. The visual takes on a range of contemporary topics including online voyeurism and smartphone addiction via violent tableaus while emoji-punctuated texts are juxtaposed with footage of Korn playing on a wall of TVs as a mysterious cloaked onlooker watches.

If the coronavirus pandemic doesn’t get in the way, the alt-metal stalwarts have a slew of big shows ahead of them. First up, two mega-concerts with System of a Down, Faith No More, Helmet and Russian Circles at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on May 22nd and 23rd. Later this summer, the band is scheduled to tour North American with FNM — see the itinerary for that trek below.
