U.S. metal stalwarts Lamb of God and German thrash veterans Kreator are set to join forces this spring for a European trek fittingly titled the “State of Unrest” tour. Texan rising stars Power Trip will play in support on the run. In anticipation of the month-long jaunt, the two main bands are rolling out a series of interview videos hosted by BBC Radio 1 Rock Show’s Daniel P. Carter and featuring Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton and Kreator frontman Mille Petrozza discussing their careers, the current state of heavy metal, tour life and more. In the first clip, which you can view below, the two musicians talk about how the three bands on the “State of Unrest” lineup are “unified through thrash.”

The “State of Unrest” trek will kick off on March 27th in Stockholm, Sweden, and wrap on April 25th at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. At the time of the tour’s announcement, Petrozza enthused, “Hordes of Europe! It is my pleasure to introduce the ‘State of Unrest’ tour. For too long, European and American metal has been divided and now it is time for unity! We are excited to be playing our only European shows of 2020 with the mighty Lamb of God and support from one of my favorite new thrash bands, Power Trip. It’s going to be a wild night of metal celebration — DO NOT MISS OUT!” See the full itinerary below.
