Stoner-thrash juggernaut High on Fire are gearing up to hit the road in the U.K. and Europe later this year, and ahead of those dates, vocalist-guitarist Matt Pike and bassist Jeff Matz stopped by celebrated record store Amoeba Music in Los Angeles and participated in the chain’s long-running “What’s in My Bag?” video series. The pair dig through the shop’s offering and fill their shopping bags, sitting down afterwards to discuss their haul and some of their favorite artists and albums.

High on Fire’s last album, 2018’s critically acclaimed Electric Messiah, won a GRAMMY for Best Metal Performance despite the band having to cancel much of their tour plans in support of the record due to Pike’s battle with diabetes, which resulted in the partial amputation of a toe, among other complications.

High on Fire’s upcoming European run is set to kick off June 19th at Belgium’s Graspop Metal Meeting and wrap a little less than a month later, on July 11th, at Czech Republic’s Masters of Rock festival. See the full itinerary below.
