See Machine Head’s Full ‘Burn My Eyes’ 25th Anniversary NYC Set in Pro-Shot Video

August 2019 marked the 25th anniversary of Machine Head‘s watershed debut album, Burn My Eyes, and since fall of last year, main man Robb Flynn has been celebrating that milestone in a big way. Following the departure of longtime members Phil Demmel and Dave McClain, the band’s self-proclaimed “general” reunited with guitarist Logan Mader (now of Once Human) and drummer Chris Kontos, both of whom played on Burn My Eyes (Mader also appeared on its follow-up, 19976’s The More Things Change…), and the reconstituted lineup — rounded out by bassist Jared MacEachern, who joined Machine Head in 2013 — have been touring the world, playing the 1994 classic album in its entirely. As if that were not enough, the band have also enlisted two new full-time members — Vogg Kiełtyka (Decapitated) and Matt Alston (ex-Devilment) — who have been joining Flynn and MacEachern on the tour for a whole other set comprised of modern Machine Head cuts. The Burn My Eyes 25th anniversary trek recently tore through New York City, laying waste to Webster Hall across three hours of pummeling metal, including an array of headbanging covers. See pro-shot official video of both of the band’s epic sets — and the full setlists — below.
