Last night (January 14th), Slipknot played their first show of the new year — and the new decade — at Dublin, Ireland’s 3Arena. Earlier in the day, the band had premiered their surprise short film “Pollution,” directed by the group’s own M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan and expanding upon the technicolor music video for their metal anthem “Nero Forte.” So it only made sense that the ‘Knot should finally play the song live, which they did, giving the We Are Not Your Kind standout its live debut, along with fellow WANYK single “Birth of the Cruel.”

“Wow. Someone pushed the insanity dial to overdrive for this new set,” drummer Jay Weinberg enthused on Twitter. “Epic night in Dublin. I’ll say this: if you miss this one….you’re going to be bummed.”

See videos of both live song debuts below — including official Jay Weinberg drum cam footage of the “Nero Forte” performance — plus check out the Nine’s stacked 2020 itinerary for a date near you.
