Late last yeah, the always-busy Jamey Jasta released second album from his solo project, fittingly dubbed Jasta. Titled Lost Chapters Vol. 2, the star-studded LP features guest appearances from Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach, Trivium frontman Matt Heafy, Crowbar bandleader and Down guitarist Kirk Windstein, and Light the Torch singer Howard Jones, as well as Emmure’s Frankie Palmeri, Biohazard’s Billy Graziadei and Ignite’s Zoli Teglas. Now, the Hatebreed main man has unveiled a new video for a throwback song “Parasitic,” off his first solo album, 2017’s The Lost Chapters. Directed by Paul McGuire, the clip was shot during the singer’s “Jasta & Friends Tour” back in August of 2018. The “friends” on that run included Jones, Windstein and Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares, who all pop up in the video. Watch it below.

In addition to making solo music and videos, Jasta has been hard at work on a new album from his main band, which is expected later this year and will be the follow-up to 2016’s The Concrete Confessional. “We’re in a great time for heavy music right now and I’ve been fortunate to work with so many talented and creative people,” Jasta said of the new video. “This is just the beginning of many more audio and visual collaborations to come. From releasing Jasta The Lost Chapters album in 2017 to working with Dee Snider on For The Love of Metal in 2018, and now having just released The Lost Chapters, Vol. 2 in 2019, I’m excited to release new Hatebreed music in 2020 and keep learning and growing as a musician, podcaster, producer, and content creator.”
