Slayer’s final show on November 30th was one for the books, an emotional and fiery event that drew a rabid crowd full of “Slaaaayyyer”-screaming fanatics, metal royalty and even a superhero. Aquaman star, and avowed metalhead, Jason Momoa was in attendance, and, from the look of his social media posts, was having a blast the entire night.

One particularly fun moment was when Momoa (and his two kids) joined opener Philip H. Anselmo onstage to help the frontman throw down on the classic Pantera track “This Love.”

In his post featuring a series of snapshots and short videos, the leading man had this to say:

“Going on stage and yelling love love LOVE with my baby boy and pantera. aka @philiphanselmo and the illegals my mind was blown FUCKIN BLOWN. i was living out my childhood dreams. i am so thankful for those moments shared with dear friends and my babies.”

The precious moment shows off Momoa’s genuine love for heavy music and his children as he stomps his imposing figure around the stage and headbangs before he and another adult lift up his kids, Lola Iolani and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo, to the microphone so they can also participate in the moment.

Further down in the post, Momoa expresses his hope that his children enjoyed their brief status as fledgling rock stars as much as he did, saying “babies i hope you remember these moments with your papa forever.”

See the post below and scroll through to see Momoa and his young family posing with Slayer, Primus’ Les Claypool, and even Rob Trujillo and Kirk Hammett of Metallica, along with Trujillo’s son Ty who is just a few years older than the Momoa kids.
