Corey Taylor is a busy man. He just tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Alicia Dove in a private desert ceremony. He’s currently shooting a new music with Slipknot, for the standout song “Nero Forte,” off the Nine’s excellent latest album, We Are Not Your Kind. And he’s gearing up for a massive European tour kicking off early next year (see the full itinerary below). But if anyone’s gonna make time to celebrate Halloween right, it’s the horror-loving masked frontman of the ‘Knot, right?!
Just in time for All Hallows Eve, Taylor just dropped a badass, 25-song Halloween playlist perfect for your costume party, trick-or-treating pregaming or what other mischief you have planned. It’s a hard-hitting mix, full of plenty of neck-snapping metal (Slayer, S.O.D., Iron Maiden, Neurosis, Taylor’s own band and other heavy-music icons make appearances), with a few welcomed digressions, as well (see the Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer” and Public Enemy’s “Welcome to the Terrordome (Fear 2011)”). You can stream the playlist below via YouTube, or listen on Spotify and Apple Music here. Happy Halloween, Maggots!
