Machine Head are a few dates into their big Burn My Eyes 25th anniversary tour. The run features the metal stalwarts playing two separate sets each night, the second of which sees bandleader Robb Flynn and bassist Jared MacEachern joined by original Machine Head members Chris Kontos (drums) and Logan Mader (guitar) to play the group’s seminal 1994 debut, Burn My Eyes, in full. The first set, meanwhile, introduces new Machine Head members Wacław “Vogg” Kiełtyka (Decapitated) and Matt Alston (Devilment), who perform an array of non-BME favorites with Flynn and MacEachern.
Kiełtyka and Alston also appear in the music video for “Do or Die,” the ferocious new song Machine Head just dropped today (October 11th), though they don’t play on the track. The song was written last August by Flynn and recorded last December by Flynn, MacEachern and Warbringer drummer Carlos Cruz. Blast it below and check out the remaining dates on the current European leg of Machine Head’s Burn My Eyes anniversary trek.
