Later this fall, thrash legends Slayer will embark on the seventh and concluding leg of their farewell world tour, dubbed The Final Campaign, before taking their final bow at the Los Angeles Forum on Saturday, November 30th. Set to support Slayer — singer-bassist Tom Araya, guitarists Kerry King and Gary Holt, and drummer Paul Bostaph — on the trek are Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals performing a vulgar display of Pantera.
But Slayer aren’t going out without one last release: namely, the newly announced Slayer: The Repentless Killogy, a motion picture starring Danny Trejo, Jessica Pimentel, Jason Trost and Bill Moseley that will pair a narrative full of “revenge, murder, bloodshed and retribution” with an August 2017 live performance shot at the Los Angeles Forum. The film’s Blu-ray release, due November 8th, will come packaged with two-CD and two-vinyl record of the live audio from that show, the latter available in eight limited-edition colored vinyl configurations for the real ‘heads. It’s all up for pre-order on Nuclear Blast’s website. Watch the trailer and see Slayer’s final tour dates below.
