It was a big weekend for Slipknot. On Friday, they finally dropped their highly anticipated sixth album, We Are Not Your Kind, and did so to rave reviews. On Saturday, they headlined the Iowa State Fair, a momentous achievement for the home state heroes. Then yesterday, August 11th, the Nine resumed their current North American Knotfest Roadshow tour by playing the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois, and played their absolutely savage single “Solway Firth” — the brutalizing final track on We Are Not Your Kind — live onstage for the first time ever.
