Iowan metal juggernaut Slipknot have dropped the third single off their highly anticipated sixth album, We Are Not Your Kind, on August 9th via Roadrunner Records (see the album art and track listing below). Titled the “Birth of the Cruel,” the cut is classic ‘Knot through and through, featuring Corey Taylor at his sing/scream best, and plenty of roaring riffage, multilayered percussion and creepy electronic touches. Check out the song below via its “Vertical Video”, which showcase the band members’ current masks and getups, as well as the itinerary for the first-ever Knotfest Roadshow tour, which is underway now in North America. We Are Not Your Kind is available for pre-order now with exclusive bundles available here.
