After years of waiting, months of hype, three badass singles, new masks, a mystery new band member and all kinds of other madness, Slipknot have finally released their beyond-highly anticipated sixth album, We Are Not Your Kind. It’s available for streaming and purchase now, and it’s well worth a listen or two or 100. Full of wild experimentation and mosh-pit-fueling brutality, it’s arguably the Nine’s best since 2004’s Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses). Tomorrow, August 10th, Slipknot are set to celebrate the LP’s release with a sure-to-be next-level insane show at the Iowa State Fair.
