After posting a cryptic video teaser promising “the end of monsters,” Slayer have announced the seventh and concluding leg of their farewell world tour, dubbed The Final Campaign. The trek will kick off Saturday, November 2nd, at the ExploreAsheville Arena in Asheville, North Carolina, and end with the band — singer-bassist Tom Araya, guitarists Kerry King and Gary Holt, and drummer Paul Bostaph — taking their final bow at the Los Angeles Forum on Saturday, November 30th. Set to support Slayer on this last run are Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals performing a vulgar display of Pantera.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, July 12th at 10 a.m. local; limited VIP packages will be available. Visit slayer.net for all ticketing and package details.
Slayer’s Final World Tour began back in May 2018, and by the time the band wraps their final concert ever, the thrash icons will have played more than 140 shows on their farewell run, across 30 countries and 40 U.S. states. Three bus drivers, four truck drivers and a crew of 32 have traveled around the world with the band to make the epic production happen, and at most of the shows, Slayer’s pyro expert set off 160 pounds of propane and 10 liters of 99% isopropyl alcohol, including in flaming pentagrams and upside-down crosses.
