Kentucky demolition crew Knocked Loose are one of the biggest young bands in hardcore, and their profile is rapidly rising. The quintet are gearing up to drop their hotly anticipated second album, A Different Shade of Blue — the follow-up to 2006’s Laugh Tracks — on August 23rd via Pure Noise Records (pre-orders are available here now), and it should take them next level, no question. Knocked Loose are already unleashed two cuts from the LP, “…And Still I Wander South” and “Mistakes Like Fractures,” and today, July 23rd, the band has followed those offerings up with a new slice off the record, the absolutely pummeling “Trapped in the Grasp of a Memory.” Crank it up via the visualizer video below. In addition to those three numbers, A Different Shade of Blue also features guest appearances by Every Time I Die and the Damned Things vocalist Keith Buckley (“Forget Your Name”) and Dying Wish’s Emma Boster (“A Serpent’s Touch”). See the full track listing and album cover below. Dedicated road dogs that they are, Knocked Loose also have a slew of North American tour dates lined up — check those out on the band’s official website.
