Rammstein’s new album, the German firestarters’ first in 10 years, is right around the corner — this Friday, May 17th, to be the exact. Until then, the industrial-metal pyromaniacs’ methodical PR rollout continues. Things started off a high point with the release of the band’s provocative lead single “Deutschland” and the song’s controversial, massive-budget music video. Since then, the group has leaked micro-teases of the LP’s other cuts in form of a YouTube playlist featuring brief snippets of isolated tracks from each song. This led up to the premiere of “Radio,” the album’s second single, which probed German history as “Deutschland” did, revisiting both in its lyrics and its cinematic video a time when the Berlin wall cut the city in half and only the music on the airwaves provided respite for those living in the East where rebellious rock & roll was banned. Today, May 14th, three days ahead of its release date, Rammstein offered up a new teaser for the LP. Set to the churning riff of album closer “Hallomann,” the brief clip takes a super-close-up trip along the surfaces of the single unlit match pictured on the cover of the LP. Watch below.

Rammstein are set to kick off a European stadium tour on May 27th in Gelsenkirchen, Germany’s Veltins-Arena. That trek is scheduled to run through August 22nd — see the full itinerary here. No word yet on any U.S. shows.
